The ETA3 Chamber Ensemble — Emily Thomas of the United States on flute, Alexey Gorokholinsky of Russia on clarinet and Tomoko Nakayama of Japan on piano — will present a concert at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19 in the Geneva Room of the Warren Hunting Smith Library.
One of the newest and exciting chamber music groups coming out of New York City, ETA3 was formed at The Juilliard School during spring of 2006. The Trio strives to communicate the intellectual and emotional elements of life by broadening the audience's perspective through a varied range of repertoire. The Trio was recognized by Juilliard as one of three prominent emerging chamber music groups of 2006 leading to their Alice Tully Hall debut.
Sponsored by the HWS Music Department, the program is free and open to the public.
