Three HWS dancers will participate in a concert of New Dances by the Rochester Contemporary Dance Collective, starting at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at Bush Mango Community Center, 34 Elton St., Rochester.
Professor of Dance Donna Davenport and Assistant Professor of Dance Michelle Iklé will join Adjunct Instructor Missy Pfohl Smith in performing and presenting choreography.
Davenport, a member of the faculty since 1990, holds a bachelor's in psychology and a bachelor of fine arts in dance, both from the University of Massachusetts; and a master's and doctorate in Dance Education, both from Temple University. She has been Associate Dean of Faculty since July 2007.
Iklé has been an assistant professor of dance since 1995.
Smith has been an assistant professor of dance since joining the faculty earlier this year, and previously served as an adjunct instructor.
