Kingery’s paper in JCP

Assistant Professor of Psychology Julie Newman Kingery is the co-author of a paper, “Evidence-based Practice for Childhood Anxiety Disorders,” that was published in the September 2007 issue of the Journal of Contemporary Psychotherapy.

The paper deals with anxiety disorders in children and adolescents, and how they may be treated with cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Kingery, who joined the faculty earlier this year, holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Richmond and her doctorate from the University of Maine.

Her co-author, Golda Ginsburg, was her mentor during her postdoctoral fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md.
