Director of United Way’s Aging with Honor Program returns to her alma mater

T.C. Ferrito '81, director of Aging With Honor-United Way of Buffalo and Erie County, is the next guest of the Professionals in Residence program. Ferrito will talk with students interested in working for non-profit agencies, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6 in Trinity 305.

She will also talk that evening about the many volunteer, internship and employment opportunities available through the United Way.

Ferrito, a political science major and an RA during her years at HWS, served after graduation on the Alumnae Council. She also holds a master's in public administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.

Ferrito will meet one-on-one the following day with students for informational interviews and coaching as they prepare to enter the industry through an internship or full-time employment. Stop by the Career Services Office in Trinity Hall to schedule a 45-minute session.
