Ever wonder how most people get a job after college? It’s definitely not from reading the classifieds. In fact, most jobs are found through the process of networking.
Want to learn more about how to network and find your dream job? Then attend “Who’s in Your Web, a networking workshop sponsored by Career Services and hosted by students in Associate Professor Mary Salibrici’s Writing in the Professional Workplace course. The workshop will cover such topics as how to create and keep a network going, how to gain the confidence to network, and the opportunities that Career Services has to offer.
The workshop will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5 in Merritt 200. Come learn more about networking, eat some homemade dessert, and take part in a raffle to win a free iPod shuffle!
