Harris, students’ visits featured in Vietnamese daily

Professor of sociology Jack Harris was featured in a story in the Sunday, Nov. 25 edition of the Thanh Nien News.

The story describes his research about Vietnam, his first visit to the country, and subsequent visits with students from these Colleges.

Reporter Mihn Huy also interviewed Harris about film screenings and exhibits of pottery and folk music and a recent visit by Nguyen Thuyet Phong, a music teacher who is president of East Meets West Foundation.

Harris, a member of the faculty since 1974, holds a bachelor's degree from Tulane University and his master's and Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania.
