Weitekamp Addresses Shuttle Investigation on Voice of America

Margaret Weitekamp, assistant professor of women's studies spoke with Voice of America News Now's Tom Crosby about the widening investigation of the Columbia tragedy Feb. 28.

As the American Historical Association/NASA Aerospace History Fellow (1998), Weitekamp spent a year in residence at the NASA Headquarters History Office and interviewed active NASA astronauts and past NASA employees as an interviewer for the Discovery Channel Publications book “The Infinite Journey: Eyewitness Accounts of NASA and the Age of Space” (2000). In 2002, she won the Aviation/Space Writers Award from the Smithsonian Institution’s National Aviation and Space Museum.
