Two representatives from General Motors will present their vision for hydrogen, and how it can power cars, starting at noon Thursday, Dec. 6 in the library's Geneva Room.
The GM executives—Daniel O’Connell, director of global field service, and Gary M. Robb, senior project engineer—will speak with students and other interested people about development of Fuel Cell Vehicles.
After the presentation, they will meet with members of the President's Climate Task Force, to discuss how they can help that on-campus effort.
Fuel cell vehicles use hydrogen to power an electric drive system. Many experts believe that hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will revolutionize our vehicles, reduce our dependence on imported oil, and reduce the threat of global warming.
The campus community is encouraged to attend.
