Tom Bozzuto '68, Chief Executive Officer of Bozzuto Homes and member of the Hobart and William Smith Board of Trustees, will return to the Colleges today as the next visitor in the Professionals in Residence program.
The Professionals in Residence program, sponsored by the Salisbury Center for Career Services, offers an opportunity for students to speak one-on-one with graduates who have gone on to successful careers and are willing to share some tips of the trade that come only with individual experience.
On Thursday, Jan. 24, Bozzuto will talk about the housing and construction industries, as well as his career in commercial real estate. This session will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the library's Sanford Room.
The next morning, he will meet one-on-one with students to provide individual career coaching and feedback. Students may schedule appointments by e-mailing Joe Ambrosetti at Career Services. Space is limited and appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
An English major while attending Hobart, Bozzuto was a member of Theta Delta Chi fraternity, Little Theatre, the football team, Hobart Student Association and the Druids. He earned a master’s degree in public administration at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship.
Bozzuto now chairs the board’s Buildings and Grounds Committee.
