Students who want to learn more about the world of communications — including advertising, public relations and media buying and planning — are encouraged to apply for “A Day of Advertising, Media and Public Relations in New York City,” on Wednesday, March 19, during the spring break.
Participants will meet with alums and employers from several agencies and organizations in the communications business, including Grey Global Group, Horn Group, Initiative, Innovation Interactive, Magna Global Trading, and Universal McCann Worldwide.
Applications are available at the Salisbury Center for Career Services, and must be completed and returned there by 4:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29. Only 25 students will be selected, because of space limitations at the hosting organizations.
Students chosen will be responsible for getting themselves to New York City and meeting the group at the designated place at 8:30 a.m. Professional attire is required; complete itineraries will be e-mailed with the acceptance letters.
