During “Camouflage Night” in February, the Hobart College Hockey team took to the ice wearing camouflage jerseys. Until 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, a silent auction will take place to auction off the jerseys.
The auction is a part of the Hobart Hockey Helpers'(HHH) and Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). HHH was founded by defenseman Ryan Adler ’09 to provide volunteer opportunities for the hockey team. It is currently partnered with WWP, a non-partisan, non-profit organization that assists soldiers coming back from Iraq with their transition back into civilian life.
Bids must be a minimum of $200. The top nine bidders will receive jerseys. Bids can be submitted by e-mailing ryan.adler@hws.edu.
All proceeds will go towards WWP.
