Cedric Johnson, assistant professor of political science, presented a paper at Sarah Lawrence College's Fifth Annual Women's History Conference, “Sisters In Struggle: Honoring Women Veterans of the Modern Civil Rights Movement,” held March 8 in Bronxville, N.Y. His paper was titled, “Black Power and Black Women's Activism.”
Johnson also presented a paper at the 34th annual meeting of the National Conference of Black Political Scientists in Oakland, Calif., March 14. His paper was titled “From Popular Anti-Imperialism to Parochialism: The African Liberation Support Committee and Post Segregation Black Radicalism.”
