McGowan Lectures in Edinburgh About Deir Yassin

Daniel McGowan, professor of economics, gave a lecture on Deir Yassin Remembered on Saturday, April 5, for the fundraising day for the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign, in Edinburgh, Scotland. McGowan recently has given several lectures on Deir Yassin Remembered, of which he is the founder and executive director. Deir Yassin Remembered is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the building of a memorial in Israel to commemorate the loss of Palestinian lives at the massacre at Deir Yassin in 1948. He is a frequent speaker on issues involving the Middle East conflict and is an expert in Palestinian history. He has co-written “Remembering Deir Yassin: The Future of Israel and Palestine and The Saga of Deir Yassin: Myth, Revisionism, and Reality”.
