Hobart Student Wins Portfolio Prize

Graduating Hobart senior and architecture major Trevor Chalmers has won the 2003 University of Kansas Architecture Portfolio Award. In the fall 2002 semester, Chalmers designed and produced the portfolio of his architectural projects, as part of a Portfolio Design Independent Study with Assistant Professor of Art Stanley Mathews. Chalmers submitted the portfolio as part of his application to the University of Kansas Graduate School of Architecture, where he has been accepted. The portfolio award is given in recognition of design quality, both of the portfolio itself as well as its contents. The award is sponsored by Studio 804 Inc., a non-profit student organization that coordinates design-build projects at the University of Kansas.
