Henking is Editor for Series on Teaching Religious Studies

Susan Henking, professor of religious studies, is founding series editor of the American Academy of Religion/Oxford University Press book series “Teaching Religious Studies.” The first two series books to be published by Oxford have been profiled in the Chronicle of Higher Education: “Teaching Islam,” edited by Brannon Wheeler and, this week, “Teaching Freud,” edited by Diane Jonte-Pace.

Upcoming volumes in the series include edited collections on teaching African American religious experience, teaching women and religion, teaching Durkheim, teaching ritual, and teaching new religious movements.
