The Friends of the Geneva Free Library, sponsored in part by The 2002 Finger Lakes Arts Grants, are offering a “Creative Writing Cycle” workshop taught by award-winning writer Angela Krueger. The cycle will consist of four different workshops: Poetry Writing, from 7 until 9 p.m. on April 8, April 15, and April 22; Senior Memoir, from noon until 2 p.m. on May 1, May 8, and May 15; Memoir Writing, from 7 until 9 p.m. Aug. 5, Aug. 12, and Aug. 19; and Nature Writing, from 7 until 9 p.m. on Sept. 9, Sept. 16, and Sept. 23. All workshops will be held in the Community Room of the library. There will be a reading night for all workshops from 7 until 9 p.m. on Sept. 28. All workshops are open to the public; participants may register for any or all workshops. The participation fee for each workshop is $10.
