Chesapeake at the Syracuse Stage

Has politics gone to the dogs? Plawright Lee Blessing contemplates this question in his one-man satire Chesapeake. In exacting revenge against a right-wing Congressman bent on destroying the NEA, a performance artist named Kerr meets an unusual and furry fate that gives him a dog's-eye view of his nemesis and a unique opportunity to influence policy. Chesapeake will run at the Syracuse Stage through Sunday, May 26.
