Calling all budding junior naturalists and other nature nuts looking for a few fun-filled and adventurous mornings practicing the skills of a naturalist through games, stories and activities. The South Bristol Cultural Center Summer Program camps will be held Tuesday and Thursday mornings, July 23 through August 8. Sessions run from 9 a.m. to noon. Camps are for children ages 6-9 years; cost is $12 a session or $60 for all three weeks. Each week has its own focus, from Wildlife Around Us, to All American, and The Earth Speaks. Participants will practice tracking, plant pressing, Native American twine-making, weaving from nature, shore mucking, and more. The last day to register for all or a portion of the camps is July 16.
