Tickets are on sale for the The South Bristol Cultural Center's Bristol Hillith Faire, a women's art and music festival which takes place from 1 until 10 p.m. on Saturday, August 24. The all-day festival features two stages (one indoor and one outdoor) with performances by a variety of music groups, storytellers and dancers, artist booths demonstrating and selling their wares, and women-supportive organizations offering services and information. An evening outdoor concert with performers Lisa Bigwood, Marie Brate and her all female fiddle group, and the POPtarts, a women's trio percussion band, will begin at 7 p.m. There will also be a chicken barbeque from 1 until 7 p.m. as well as a variety of other foods and beverages for purchase throughout the day.
Ticket prices are $15/person for an all day pass or $10/person for the evening concert beginning at 7 p.m. Children twelve and under are free. Tickets are available at The South Bristol Cultural Center during normal gallery hours (396-5950), in Canandaigua at Coyote's Den located at 100 S.
