Portuguese film maker Manoel de Oliveira's I'm Going Home, premieres in Geneva at the Smith Opera House on Thursday, Oct. 10. A work of simplicity, poetic tact and grace, it is about an about an elderly Parisian actor (played by Michel Piccoli) who has come, before he quite realizes it, to the end of his career–and perhaps the end of his life as well.
I'm Going Home will be screened October 10, 11 and 13. Showtimes are 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Running time is 1 hour, 30 minutes. In English and French with subtitles, this film is not rated. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. All seats on Thursday are $3.
