The Women's Council of the Geneva Historical Society will present the 34th annual Wassail Bowl and Sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Presbyterian Church, 24 Park Place, Geneva. Sale items will include fresh wreaths and greens, tree ornaments, handmade items, baked goods and attic treasures. Wassail, a traditional spiced cider, will also be available for tasting at the event.
The council is also sponsoring a wassail bowl raffle. The prizes this year are a framed watercolor by Bill Wilsey, a $50 gift certificate from Harvest Hill Nursery, a $50 gift certificate from Hamilton 258, Sunday brunch for two at Belhurst Castle, and a basket of Christmas-related items from Treasure Basked in Seneca Falls. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and are available at the Historical Society office (543 S. Main St.) or at the sale. For further information, please call the Society office at 789-5151.
