The 6th annual fine art and craft show “Winterfaire” will be held on from l0 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, and l0 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. l, at Sunset Lodge at Bristol Mountain.
The holiday event will showcase the work of 24 artists and craftsmen, many of whom reside in this area. Several of the exhibitors participate in national shows. Participants will exhibit original works that are hand-crafted, offering an exciting and varied selection of gift-giving items for the upcoming holiday season. Among media to be shown are pottery, hand-blown glass, weaving, paintings, etchings, watercolors, hand cut paper, greeting cards, journals, hand-made knives, jewelry, jewelry boxes, driftwood sculpture, home-made pies and candies, gift baskets, Christmas ornaments, fresh Christmas wreaths, wooden toys and hand-carved bears.
A $2 donation at the door will benefit the South Bristol Cultural Arts Center's programs throughout the coming year. Hospeace House will have a booth selling fresh wreaths as a fund raiser. A Christmas tree featuring hand-cut doves and angels for $l will also benefit Hospeace House.
