An Epicurean Delight will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, at Steamboat Landing in Canandaigua to benefit Hospeace House (Naples) and Ontario-Yates Hospice (Geneva). This second annual fundraiser will feature culinary delights from some of the finest establishments in the Finger Lakes area, along with silent and live auctions, featuring one-of-a-kind pieces made expressly for this event by a number of the Finger Lakes' talented artisans.
Tickets are $50 per person and offer the opportunity to graze all evening on the diverse and delicious cuisine presented by: Ferris Hills at West Lake, Geneva on the Lake, Lincoln Hill Inn, Millers Essenhaus, The Naples Hotel, Quail Summit, Ramada Inn Geneva Lakefront, and Steamboat Landing. Wine tastings will be provided by Canandaigua Wine Company, and a variety of coffees and teas will be provided by Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters. A cash bar will also be available. Those wishing to participate in the live and silent auctions will find a variety of glass, watercolor, jewelry, antiques, and even a “Bill Schlegel original” carved bear on which to bid. The auction will also include theater tickets, spa packages, restaurant dinners, gardening items, kids packages and more.
Proceeds from an Epicurean Delight will benefit Hospeace House, a four-bed, N.Y. State certified hospice home recently opened in Naples, and Ontario-Yates Hospice, which provides medical services to Hospeace House.
Tickets, which are tax deductible, may be purchased at any of the participating food establishments, as well as at the Mitchell-Joseph Agency (Naples), the Chrisman Agency (Honeoye), the Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce (Canandaigua), or Ontario-Yates Hospice (Geneva).
