Free after school art classes for children held at Wayne Arts will begin from 3:30 until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5. Children ages 6-14 need to call in advance to sign up. The March classes will feature drawing and cartooning. Space is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
Adult oil painting, papermaking watercolor painting, charcoal drawing, beading and acrylic classes begin soon after and Wayne Arts is accepting registrations now. A matting and a colored pencil drawing workshop will also be offered in March. The cost is $10 per class; most are four weeks long. The cost for senior citizens is $25 for the course.
