Celebrate St. Patrick's Day by joining in for an afternoon of music and dance. A Celtic Celebration Concert will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, at the Smith Opera House, to benefit Ontario-Yates Hospice. This annual concert will feature Feadan Or (prize-winning Scottish pipe band), the Drumcliffe School of Irish Dance (champion Irish stepdancers), Laurie Hart (Irish fiddler), Roxanne Ziegler (Celtic harp), The Dady Brothers, and Mitzie Collins (hammered dulcimer). Tickets are $8 for students and seniors (65 & older), $10 for adults until March 13. All tickets after March 13 are $12. Tickets may be purchased in Geneva at The Smith Opera House, Martin Music or Area Records, in Penn Yan at Long's Cards and Books, or in Canandaigua at The Medicine Shoppe. All proceeds from a Celtic Celebration Concert benefit the clients and families of Ontario-Yates Hospice, which provides pain-management, emotional and spiritual comfort care to terminally ill patients.
