St. Peter's concert series presents their Barbecue and Spring Sing Concert, featuring four choirs and 85 voices, beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 6, on the church lawn, corner of Lewis and Genesee streets, Geneva. The chicken barbecue will go from 5 until 7 p.m., followed by the spring sing at 7:30 p.m. The St. Peter's Community Junior and Senior Youth choirs and Saint Nicholas Children's Choir, directed by Wendra Trowbridge, as well as St. Peter's Mixed Adult Choir, directed by Mary Ann Hamilton, will perform. The program will include folk songs, spirituals, the theme from “New York, New York” and works by Billings and Haydn, accompanied on piano by Hilda Lam Collins and Ronna LeBrun, and on organ by Mary Ann Hamilton. Concert tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for senior citizens, and $3 for children. Chicken barbecue tickets, pre-sale, are $7 each, and children's hot dog meals are $3 each.
