Hospeace House, a four-bed, New York state certified Hospice residence, located in Naples, seeks donations for its third annual “From Trash to Treasures” Yard Sale.
Clean, gently used household items can be dropped off at the rear of the Mitchell-Joseph Insurance Agency, 130 South Main Street (Naples) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following Saturdays: June 7, June 14, June 28, and July 12. Accepted items include: (working) appliances, china, glass, antiques, furniture, sports equipment, toys, games, tools, books, kitchen items, and any other household type goods. Clothing will not be accepted, nor will items that are dirty, broken or belong in the trash. Tax deductible receipts will be available; it is up to each donor to determine the value of the items.
The “From Trash to Treasures” sale will be held July 25-27 on Main Street in Naples. Those who have a tent that they can donate for this event, are interested in providing a baked good for the bake sale, or are interested in volunteering time to help with this sale, please contact Joy Joseph at (585) 374-2779 or Martha Lovett at (585) 374-9668. All volunteers who work at the sale for a minimum of three hours will be allowed to “pre-shop” before the sale is open to the public. All proceeds from the sale will go towards the upkeep and maintenance of Hospeace House.
