The Hangar Theatre opens Lerner and Loewe’s “My Fair Lady,” one of Broadway’s best-loved musicals, on Thursday, July 10. The story of Professor Henry Higgins and flower girl Eliza Doolittle has charmed audiences since it first opened in New York and swept the Tony Awards. Based on the George Bernard Shaw classic “Pygmalion,” this buoyant musical will take viewers on a journey of transformation, rife with clever repartee and romantic awakenings.
“My Fair Lady” plays at the Hangar Theatre from July 10-26. Ticket prices range from $12 to $30 and are available at the Ticket Center at Clinton House at 116 North Cayuga Street, Ithaca, and at Cornell’s Willard Straight Hall. Call for tickets 800-842-8422 or 607-273-4497. Tickets may also be purchased from one hour prior to curtain time at the theatre and on line at www.hangartheatre.org.
