Auditions for the Nutcracker ballet are open to adults (male and female) and children over age 3. The Nutcracker will be performed at 7 p.m. on Dec. 13 and at 2 p.m. on Dec. 14 at the Smith Opera House. Acting and dancing talent sought. Please arrive at least half an hour early. Children's audition times are 6-6:30 p.m., ages 3-6; 6:30 -7:15 p.m., ages 7-10; 7:15-8 p.m., soloists, ages 3-10; on Tuesday, Aug. 12. Adult audition times are 6-6:30 p.m., teens and adults with no experience; 6:30-7:30 p.m., ages 11-adult; 7:30-8:30 p.m., soloists, ages 11-adult; on Wednesday, Aug. 13.
