Walker ’98 Named Lacrosse Coach

Wendy Walker, who has served as assistant lacrosse coach at the College of the Holy Cross and at Boston College, has been named head lacrosse coach at Smith College. Walker received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998 from William Smith College and her master's degree from Lesley University. While an undergraduate at William Smith, Walker was a four-year member of the varsity soccer and lacrosse teams and served as captain to both her senior year. Her 1995 lacrosse team was a finalist and 1997 team a semifinalist at the NCAA Division III Championships. She was chosen the team's MVP in 1997 & 98 and was selected to All-America, All- Region and All-State teams in both of those years. Walker replaces Judy Strong who will remain as Smith's field hockey coach.
