Seneca Community Players To Hold Auditions For ‘Clue: The Musical’

Seneca Community Players announces auditions for its upcoming production of “Clue: The Musical,” at 7 p.m. on Aug. 23 and 24. Auditions will be held at SCP headquarters, Cowing Street, canalside in Seneca Falls.

Parts are available for eight adults – four men and four women. Interested individuals should prepare a song in a 'character' voice. When auditioning, please wear appropriate footwear (no sandals) and bring a calendar of potential schedule conflicts.

“Clue: The Musical” is the internationally popular game brought to life on stage as a fun-filled musical. All the world's best-known suspects come to life and the audience is invited to help solve the mystery: who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room and with what weapon. Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Miss Scarlet, Mr. Green, Colonial Mustard and Mrs. Peacock all come under suspicion with every performance. A rousing audience-participation, who-dunnit with a different murderer every night.

The show will be presented the last two weekends in October at Fatzinger Hall in the Waterloo Public Library.

Seneca Community Players’ mission is to foster, arouse and help broaden the interest, availability and appreciation of the theatre arts in Seneca and surrounding counties. Over its 31-year history, SCP has established itself as the only year-round Seneca County group that continually offers and produces quality theatrical productions highlighted by an annual summer musical. These productions provide the opportunity for community members to engage in the creative process on-stage, back stage and the design process.
