The Geneva Historical Society 2005 calendar, Geneva's Gardens, Porches and Gates is currently for sale. The calendar is the first full-color, contemporary calendar the Society has produced. It features photographs of some of Geneva's loveliest yards, gardens, porches and gates. The thirteen images capture the changing seasons and the community's unique architectural features. The calendar is a wonderful reminder of Geneva's beauty, especially for those who no longer live in the area.
The calendar includes the dates of annual Society and community events, as well as national and religious holidays. These wall calendars make lovely gifts, especially for out-of-town relatives and visitors. The 2005 calendars are $12 plus tax. They are available at the Geneva Historical Society and Rose Hill Mansion gift shops. All proceeds go to benefit the Geneva Historical Society.
The Geneva Historical Society Museum is located in the Prouty-Chew House at 543 South Main Street and is open 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free.
