WSKG Public Radio's “forum for writers from our region” turns to the history of baseball on Tuesday, Sept. 14. In a live broadcast at 1 p.m. (repeating at 7 p.m.) the guests will be Marvin Cohen and Michael McCann, authors of “Baseball in Broome County.” They tell host Bill Jaker about researching 130 years of baseball history and finding the many pictures that illustrate the book.
The program will also include an interview with Binghamton Mets General Manager Bill Terlecky and an excerpt from a 1950-era broadcast of a Triplets game, as described by sportscaster Ken Gilchrist.
