Whodunit, in what room, with what weapon? Colonel Mustard in the library with the revolver? Mrs. Peacock in the kitchen with the candlestick? Prof. Plum in the lounge with a lead pipe?
Seneca Community Players invites you to get a clue with its rousing new musical comedy, “Clue: The Musical,” coming to Fatzinger Hall at the Waterloo Library Oct. 22 – 24 and 28 – 30.
Based on the popular Parker Brothers board game, “Clue” is a rousing, fun-filled musical bringing the world's best known mystery to life on the stage. The production invites the audience to play along and to solve the mystery. They are given cards on which write their opinions throughout the performance. At the beginning of the play, three audience members choose cards which represent the murderer, the weapon used and the location of the crime. Can you solve the murder before the detective in this clever audience-participation musical mystery. Fun and suspenseful, “Clue” has 216 different endings — a different one each night — with plenty of mystery and entertainment for the entire family.
The cast of colorful suspects includes Ellie Albro (Mrs. Peacock), Jeb Albro (Prof. Plum), Nick Bessette (Mr. Green), Shamien Bradley (Miss Scarlet), Steve Mitchell (Colonel Mustard) and Kevin Schoonover (Mrs. White). Patrick Fegley portrays the victim, Mr. Boddy and Erin Winston rounds out the company as the detective determined to solve the murder.
Produced locally by Jennifer Mitchell, “Clue” is directed by Rhonda Jasper and features choreography by Erin Winston; technical direction by Jeff Winston with mentoring by Karl Nies; lighting design by Becky Bly; costumes, hair and make-up by Kristine Marble; publicity by Kevin Schoonover; props by Jasper and set design by Jasper and Ellie Albro. Additionally Michele Sigl is stage manager, Margaret Little is the music director, Annie Bachmann is the piano accompanist, Kathy Hadley is house manager, and Albro is master carpenter. The show was written by Peter DePietro and Tom Chiodo with music by Galen Blum, Wayne Barker and Vinnie Martucci.
