The Geneva Historical Society is hosting the 2005 Geneva City School District Art Show. The show features the best work of students in grades Kindergarten through grade 12 at North Street School, West Street School, Geneva Middle School and Geneva High School. The exhibit will open on Sunday, April 10, with a reception for students, their families and the public. The reception will be hosted by the Katharine Foster Hopkins Art Club and will run from 2-4 p.m. The exhibit will be on view through May 14.
The Geneva Historical Society Museum is located in the Prouty-Chew House at 543 South Main Street and is open 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free.
The Geneva Historical Society receives major funding from the New York State Council on the Arts, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and the Town and City of Geneva.
