ITHACA — “Rough Magic,” an action adventure world-premiere, whose events unfold with humor and drama at lightning speed, will be presented at the Hangar Theatre July 27-Aug. 6.
The plot, by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa with direction by Kevin Moriarty, revolves around a 30-something Manhattan heroine who can magically summon characters from Shakespeare's classic plays. His battles with an evil sorcerer over the destiny of Manhattan makes for a struggle of epic proportions as they compete for possession of Prospero's book of magic spells.

Tickets may also be purchased at the theatre one hour prior to curtain time. The theatre is on Route 89, two miles north of downtown Ithaca, in Cass Park near the Treman Marina entrance.
