The Geneva Historical Society is holding a fund-raising raffle with the of a Seneca Lake Winery Tour for six, including lunch at the Inn at Glenora and dinner at the Crow’s Nest.
Raffle tickets are $10 each and are available at The Prouty-Chew Museum, Rose Hill Mansion, Pedulla’s Liquor Store, Headley's Discount Liquor, the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce office or the Geneva Farmers Market, or by calling the Historical Society at 789-5151.
They are also available at the HWS Public Service Office in Trinity Hall. The drawing will be at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21 at the Seneca Lake Whale Watch; need not be present to win.
The tour can be arranged by the winner any time before Nov. 1; departure will be from the Crow’s Nest restaurant on Boody’s Hill Road at 10 a.m., and stop at a choice of wineries between Geneva and Glenora. Admission fees, if any, are included. Lunch will be served at the Inn At Glenora.
A gift basket from Red Jacket Orchards will be available to enjoy en route.
In the afternoon, the tour will proceed toward Watkins Glen and then return on the east side of Seneca Lake; the day will conclude with dinner at the Crow’s Nest at 5:30 p.m.
