French classical guitarist to play at hurricane benefit

French classical guitarist Philippe Bertaud will play a concert from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, in the South Lawn Tent Pavilion at Geneva On The Lake on Lochland Road (Route 14 south). An artist's reception and tasting of Anthony Road Wines will follow on the terrace.

Donations payable to “American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund” will be accepted.

Bertaud has been called “the New Lord of the Strings” by the Los Angeles Times, and creator of a style he calls “New Fusion.” He offers master classes in five languages and performs widely across Europe, the United States, Canada and Latin America. He will present a concert Dec. 29 in Carnegie Hall in New York City.
