‘Missing New Orleans’ benefit planned

CANANDAIGUA — “Missing New Orleans,” to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina, will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, at the South Bristol Cultural Center's barn home, 5323 Seneca Point Road.

The Bourbon Street Parade will play Dixieland jazz band music; wine from Woodbury Vineyards will be tasted with treats from The Lodge of Bristol Harbour.

The suggested donation of $25 will be taken at the door and checks may be made payable to the American Red Cross, which will receive all proceeds.

The center’s current art exhibit, “Naples Artist’s Show,” will be available for viewing during the event.

The South Bristol Cultural Center is on the west side of Canandaigua Lake between the city of Canandaigua and the village of Naples. For details, call (585) 396-5950, e-mail SBCChome@frontiernet.net or visit http://www.southbristolculturalcenter.org .
