Lorraine Yvette Collins, a graduate student at Syracuse University whose mother, Lillian Collins, has worked at HWS for more than 35 years, will be a panelist for “Voices of Experience 2005,” Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Ramada Inn Geneva Lakefront. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.; the program and reception begin at 7 p.m.
The discussion is sponsored by the Women's Foundation of Genesee Valley, and all proceeds will benefit Grants for Girls, which has
awarded nearly $108,000 to support several area agencies and programs.
Also appearing on the panel will be Sandra Eckert, M.D.; Sujata Gupta, a reporter for the Finger Lakes Times who has written several newspaper stories about the Colleges; Marti Macinski, Esq., owner of Standing Stone Vineyards in Hector; and Yvette Ortiz, owner of Earthly Possessions in Geneva. Nikki Landry of WBEE radio will be the moderator.
