GENEVA — Disney's technically ambitious “Chicken Little” — the studio's first fully computer-animated in-house feature — will be shown starting Friday, Jan. 13 at the Smith Opera House.
Director Mark Dindal (“The Emperor's New Groove”) and screenwriters Steve Bencich and Ron J. Friedman (“Brother Bear”) and Ron Anderson have taken the time-honored chicken-who-cried-wolf fable and have given it a satirical “War of the Worlds” spin.
The multi-layered film also includes social issues, emotional ones, a strong plot, spoof elements and more.
“Chicken Little” will be shown at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., and at 2 p.m. Sunday and Monday, which is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It is rated G and has a running time of 81 minutes. All seats are just $3. For details, call (315) 781-LIVE (5483) or toll-free 866-355-LIVE (5483).
