Envision Your Global Future with ROCtober

A series of virtual information sessions throughout October will help students learn how to incorporate their study abroad experiences into their professional, personal and academic lives.

For the past three years, the HWS Center for Global Education has joined colleges and universities in the Rochester area in organizing the ROC Your Global Future Conference.

In place of the 2020 in-person conference, ROCtober: A Month of Envisioning your Global Future will offer sessions each week organized around four traditional conference themes: “Going Abroad Again”; “Study Abroad in Your Career”; “Becoming A Global Citizen”; and “Reflecting On Your Experiences.”

To register or to learn more about the themes and sessions, visit ROC Your Global Future’s ROCtober page.

ROC Your Global Future is a collaboration among HWS, SUNY Geneseo, St. John Fisher College, the University of Rochester, Rochester Institute of Technology, SUNY Brockport, Alfred State College and Nazareth College. The conference designed to provide students within the Greater Rochester Area opportunities and resources to reflect on their experience abroad, after returning home.
