Wind Point Partners, a leading Chicago-based private equity firm, has named Trish Gilbert ’85 as its Chief Talent Officer. In this role, Gilbert will work with Wind Point’s senior partners to identify, assess and cultivate relationships with top-caliber CEO, board director, and executive candidates, a key element of the firm’s investment strategy. Wind Point is focused on partnering with executives in all aspects of the investment process from due diligence to joining a portfolio company leadership team as CEO, or as a board member.
Gilbert joins Wind Point with considerable talent acquisition and human capital experience, recently serving as vice president of human capital at The Edgewater Funds. Prior to The Edgewater Funds, Gilbert spent eight years as a managing director with Citadel, a leading global multi-strategy asset management firm, in areas such as global recruiting, global talent strategies and human resources. Previously, Gilbert held senior-level roles at Heidrick & Struggles International and other executive search firms and alternative asset management organizations.
At Hobart and William Smith, Gilbert majored in psychology, served as a Resident Advisor and was a member of William Smith Congress and Hai Timiai. As a senior, she also worked in the Salisbury Center for Career, Professional and Experiential Education as a career assistant and after graduation joined the office as the assistant director of career counseling.
