On Jan. 18, HWS and the Geneva community will march to honor the life and service of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Hobart and William Smith will join the Geneva community for the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. March and Memorial Service on Monday, Jan. 18. The event is organized by the Geneva MLK Committee.
Marchers will meet at the Geneva Public Safety Building, 255 Exchange Street, at 9:30 a.m. All members of the HWS community are encouraged to join President Joyce P. Jacobsen in attending.

As part of the National Day of Service, the Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning (CCESL) encourages students to participate in virtual or socially distanced service opportunities.
“Write an an elected official to advocate for an issue of personal importance. Make get well cards for people hospitalized with coronavirus through the ‘Get Well World’ initiative, or commit to becoming a youth digital literacy mentor for the semester with ‘Write Away,” Director of CCESL Katie Flowers says.
