Throughout the pandemic, HWS Housekeeping has worked around the clock to provide a clean and safe learning environment. As part of the Colleges’ reopening plan, staff integrated new and enhanced cleaning protocols into their work such as restocking and maintaining 300 hand sanitation and disinfectant stations throughout campus. They have also utilized new cleaning devices, such as the electrostatic disinfectant spray, in order to disinfect high touch surfaces.
With gratitude for their essential work, Chief Photographer Kevin Colton photographed several of the staff members during their shifts. From 4 a.m. in the Warren Hunting Smith Library to the noon rush in the Scandling Campus Center, the Housekeeping staff bring decades of experience to their work.
