HWS Launches InteractiveMap and Virtual Tour

With 360-degree panoramic views from atop St. Mark’s tower, detailed descriptions and photographs of residence halls, and such features as a 3D rendering of the William Scandling research vessel,  the Colleges’ new, interactive campus map and virtual tour platform is available.

Working in collaboration with CampusBird map management software, the Colleges’ 320 acres have been brought to life in meticulous detail. Designed to enhance the user experience, visitors to the site can take a self-guided walking tour through campus, easily find dining options or explore academic programs.

Points on the map are organized into 13 categories such as “academic and administrative,” “campus services and resources” and “student housing.” The mapping platform is built on top of Google Maps, permitting users the functionality to zoom in or pan out to the exact level of detail desired.

The map is available on computers and mobile devices.
