- In this edition of This Week In Photos, we take an inside look at a variety of internships, jobs and positions held by HWS students this summer. - Luke Ruddy ’18 stands outside the National Weather Service Office in Missoula, Mt. Ruddy, the recipient of a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Hollings Scholarship, is working with the Missoula Fire Sciences Laboratory to conduct wildfire research that will improve safety for firefighters.
- Taylor Gorycki '18 gathers with children in Tamale, Ghana. A recipient of the HWS Centennial Center for Leadership's Cohen Fellowship, Gorycki is working at the clean water organization Saha Global.

- Matthew DiCostanzo ’19 takes a selfie outside Sony Music Entertainment’s headquarters in New York City. DiCostanzo is a summer intern in the royalty department.
- William Samayoa ’19 is a communication intern at FreemantleMedia, a global media company that produces shows like “America's Got Talent,” “American Gods” and “American Idol.”
- Sales and marketing intern for The Bozzuto Group, Natasha Patel '18 poses on the roof of her Bozzuto community, Twenty|20 in Cambridge, Mass.
- This summer, Arsalan Haider ’18 and Craig “CJ” Tattan ’19 are working on their software development skills as they intern for Sea Street Technologies, a cloud technology company based in Boston, Mass.
- On campus, Josh Wasserman ’20 and Peter Banks ’18 conduct research on the clustering properties of thiophene and isoprene with water using matrix isolation in Napier Hall. They are working under the direction of Assistant Professor of Chemistry Josh Newby.
- Alexandra LaMonte ’17 is working at the New York State Association of Counties in Albany, N.Y., where she is analyzing how state laws impact New York’s 62 counties.
- Tyler Fuller '18 is conducting research on nano-sized drug delivery systems at the University of Puerto Rico’s campus in Río Piedras as part of a program funded by the National Science Foundation.
- Student Researchers Magdy Gad '19, Zhiyi “Ben” Chen '19 and Avery Wickersham '19 gather for a photo during physics research led by Assistant Professor of Physics Leslie Hebb.
- Bethany Kharrazi '21 sits on the steps of the U.S. Capitol Building. Over the the summer, Kharrazi made six trips to Washington, D.C. to advocate for those with Cystic Fibrosis, including her brother.

The three Hobart students recently debuted their monologue show “From the Ground Up” as part of a theatrical scholarship funded by the Sills Family Endowed Fellowship.
