In 2016, The City of Geneva received a $10 million investment through the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council as part of a $100 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative launched by New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo.

- A wooden cask rests on a hill overlooking Seneca Lake in Dundee, N.Y. The Finger Lakes are home to a flourishing wine industry. On Seneca Lake alone, there are more than 90 wineries.

- The home of Harriet Tubman stands in Auburn, N.Y. The abolitionist moved to Auburn in 1857, and later established the Harriet Tubman Home of the Elderly. The site became part of the National Park Service in 2017.

- A clothesline blows in the wind on a farm in Lyons, N.Y. Wayne County and the surrounding region is home to many Mennonite and Amish families. The first Amish settlers to New York arrived in the 1830s.
