Sociology major and entrepreneurial studies minor Madison Kaenzig de Denus ’22 will work with the Bozzuto Group this summer as a Sales and Marketing Intern. As part of the highly competitive program, she will assist with operations and the management of a Bozzuto property.
During the 12-week internship, Kaenzig de Denus will develop marketing strategy and social media content for her assigned property at the Falls Green Property in Falls Church, Va. In addition, she will plan several events for residents in order to foster a stronger community environment.
The internship will culminate in a report analyzing marketing initiatives, operations and financial objectives that will be presented directly to leadership at Bozzuto Management Company. Along with her responsibilities, Kaenzig de Denus will have the opportunity to attend various networking and professional development events.
When deciding where to pursue a sales and marketing internship, Kaenzig de Denus says she was drawn to the real estate industry and Bozzuto specifically. “The Bozzuto Group has a great reputation as a fantastic company to work for; I am excited to learn from them,” she says.
On campus, Kaenzig de Denus is a member of the HWS chapter of the Public Leadership Education Network. Most recently, members of HWS PLEN attended a leadership symposium hosted by the national organization in Washington, D.C. In addition to learning from top level executives, government officials and nonprofit leaders, students attended workshops on networking and financial literacy.
Kaenzig de Denus is also a member of club soccer and lacrosse. She works at the Admissions Office as an O’Laughlin Ambassador, for Reunion and as an Orientation Mentor. This spring, she was inducted in to the William Smith Laurel Society.
