Solomon ’92, P’20 Talks Legal Careers

As part of the Colleges’ Professionals in Residence Series (PIR), Patrick Solomon ’92, P ’20, founding partner of Thomas & Solomon LLP, will visit campus to talk about careers in employment law. Solomon is an executive committee member of the New York State Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law section, and co-chairs the section’s Wage and Hour Committee.

Solomon will deliver his talk at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday, March 30 in Trinity Hall Room 305. On Friday, March 31, Solomon will interview students from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Trinity 109.

As a partner at Thomas & Solomon LLP, representing employees, Solomon concentrates his practice on national wage and hour, class and collective action litigation. He has represented hundreds of thousands of employees, and recovered back wages resulting in tens of millions of dollars for those clients.

An American studies major, Solomon played on the 12-time National Championship Hobart College lacrosse team, earning three National Championships. Solomon played goalie on the Iroquois National Lacrosse Team in the 1990 and 1998 World Lacrosse Championships in Perth, Australia, and Baltimore, Maryland
